‘I Am Legend 2: The Final Chapter’ Teaser Drops – Will Smith Returns
After years of speculation, the long-awaited sequel to the 2007 post-apocalyptic thriller ‘I Am Legend’ has finally unveiled its first teaser trailer. And fans of the original will be thrilled to see the return of leading man Will Smith.
The brief 90-second clip doesn’t give too much away in terms of plot, but it’s clear this will be an epic conclusion to the story of Robert Neville, the last surviving human in a world overrun by vampire-like mutants.
We see glimpses of the desolate, overgrown New York City landscape that was the backdrop for the first film. But there are also tantalising shots of new characters, including what appears to be a young woman who could hold the key to mankind’s salvation.
Of course, the real draw here is the comeback of Smith as Neville. In the teaser, we see the world-weary but determined former scientist fighting for survival, using his scientific know-how and formidable combat skills to take on the infected hordes. Fans will be thrilled to see the star back in action hero mode after his recent more dramatic roles.
