Please meet Lionel

Lionel was found by a member of staff running up & down the road outside our centre. He was reported to the Dog Warden as a stray but not claimed so we can look for a new home for Lionel.

Lionel also wasn’t microchipped so we can gain no insight for any of his details from that. He was named by staff & his age is only an approximate guess from looking at his teeth. This can vary greatly though due to diet, previous dental work etc. He is going to be a large boy as he already weighs in at 33kg.

We are constantly learning new things about Lionel, he is very intelligent & a fast learner.
He would benefit from an owner who has previous large breed experience. Due to his size & the fact we do not know his background, we will be looking for a home without children.

We would possibly consider a home with a calm patience female dog, this dog must already be neutered.
Lionel needs an active home, calm home as he can become overly excited & this shows in a number of ways, which staff will happily discuss with you, if you think you could be Lionel’s perfect match.
